- Your CAC certificate — the exact registered name and RC number, read from the document rather than from memory. A trading name will fail the check.
- Your TIN from FIRS.
- Your transport operator licence number, where your state issues one.
- An operations inbox you actually watch. It becomes your sign-in, and every future login code goes there.
- A hackney permit and comprehensive commercial insurance for each vehicle. Private-use cover is not sufficient.
- Your drivers registered on the Gravy app first, using the same phone numbers you will enter.
How we vet
What we check before a car carries a passenger.
The company
CAC registration, TIN and transport operator licence, verified against the registers.
The vehicle
Hackney permit for commercial passenger carriage, and comprehensive insurance that covers it. Each car approved on its own.
The driver
Driver's licence, plus LASDRI and LASRRA for Lagos. A background check, and a liveness and selfie check in the app before driving.
You see your driver's name, photo and plate number before pickup, and you can share the trip with anyone you choose.

What does it cost?
You see the full fare before you book, and it does not change. No surge, no recalculation at the destination.
Is it more than a regular ride?
Usually, yes. It is a fixed price for a professional driver from a company we have vetted — you are paying to not think about it.
What if my flight is delayed?
Add your flight number when you book. Your driver sees the flight, so a delay moves the pickup.
Do I tip?
The fare is all-in, so tipping is not expected. If your driver was good, send a compliment — it goes on their record.

How do I join as a driver?
Through a fleet company. Drivers cannot sign themselves up — ask the fleet you drive for to register, or get in touch and we will point you to one.
How does a fleet get paid?
Fares settle into your fleet wallet after each completed trip, and you withdraw to a registered Nigerian bank account.
Where does Chauffeur operate?
Lagos and Abuja today. Port Harcourt, Uyo, Ibadan and other Nigerian cities are coming soon.
